Chapel

Chapel and Bible teaching are important parts of our FirstSteps program. All children participate in chapel on a regular basis. FirstSteps uses the Think Orange First Look curriculum that will daily teach the children a Bible and character lesson, prayer, memory verses, songs, and the books of the Bible.

All children participate in chapel on a regular basis.

First Look has an entire Parent CUE strategy provided with the curriculum. We give you materials monthly to encourage the learning to continue at home. We provide ideas for Play Time, Drive Time, Bath Time, Cuddle Time and Morning Time that connect what preschoolars are learning at FirstSteps with what they are hearing at home. We even have a Parent CUE app that parents can download where they can watch a weekly video together as a family.

Physical Fitness

FirstSteps offers a year round, structured program as a way for boys and girls to lay a foundation for a healthy lifestyle and to establish a pattern of fitness and good eating habits. The daily activity begins with prayer, warm-up, and stretch. The children then begin different types of physical activity, based around their age.

Children participate from ages 18 months to 5 years.
